Second day in the studio apartment and my first day of training at Tully's Coffee. Since Edo got off work late last night, we ended up making food around eleven forty five and hung out until one thirty. Luckily I woke up on time, and felt pretty rested since the little cave bedroom is pretty comfortable after all. In fact, I think I slept in the same position the whole night; I guess I feel pretty secure sleeping in a little space like that. It's too bad we're spending so little time here, and will soon have to move again - it almost seems more worth it to leave everything packed up!

I actually work until Sunday and then - who knows? I'm glad I'm getting so many hours this week though because it makes it easier to pay rent and possibly save money. Tomorrow I have training on the Embarcadero again, so I'm going to ride my bike to BART and save myself the driving and parking hassle.

Gah, the only thing I have to complain about though is the fact the bathtub doesn't get very hot. I was so looking forward to it too because it's very deep, but it only holds heat for a little while and then pretty soon I'm in a lukewarm bath surrounded by green apple bubbles. In fact, I even had two big pots of water boiling so I could make the temperature somewhat relaxing, but it only lasted a few minutes! Hmph. Maybe I'll figure out a way to insulate my bathtime, but if not, I hopefully have a hot bath to look forward to when we move to our next place.

I'm off to pack up some more things from Edo's old apartment and then it'll be time to organize everything - hopefully we can get the apartment looking good before it's time to move out!
